About the application form for personal certificates

The Norwegian Maritime Authority’s Section for Education, Certification and Manning is accredited by Norwegian Accreditation according to ISO 17024.
This is a standard for certification and describes, among other things, the application process.
According to this standard, the applicant is to be made aware of and confirm / authorize that the information in the application is used in processing the application.
This is ensured by having the applicant sign the application.

During the latest revision the NMA was made ​​aware that signatures were missing on applications from Norwegian applicants. The application form was, therefore, amended accordingly.

Please note

Lack of signature by the applicant will result in rejection of the application.
