Login for Norwegian users

If you are a Norwegian national, or if you have been given a D number, you should log into My vessels by using ID-porten.

The advantage of logging in by ID-porten is that you will automatically get access to the vessels you own or for which you have an administrative role (these roles are specified in Altinn), provided that they are registered in one of the Norwegian Maritime Authority's vessel registers.

The following individuals will have the “Transport” role pre-assigned in Altinn and automatically have access to vessels:

  • managing shipowner
  • general manager / Managing director
  • partner with full/joint liability (national identity number)
  • owner
  • contact person for NUF
  • Norwegian representative (of foreign entity)
  • chairman of the board

Click “Login using ID-porten” to see this familiar dialogue box:

Choose a login method.

Once you have identified yourself, you will be directed to My vessels.

The following dialogue box will appear the first time you log in:

Enter your name and e-mail address.

Next, you must confirm the information before you go to a web page similar to the following:

Vessels to which you have ownership or administrative privileges will be shown.

Registration and login for non-Norwegian users

If you do not have a Norwegian national identity number or have not been assigned a D number you can still open a user account on My vessels.

Note: If you have opened this type of account you will not automatically be assigned access to vessels you own.
