As it turns out, errors have been made in connection with the adoption of a new title for Regulations on fishing vessels of less than 15 metres in overall length and amendments to section 47 third paragraph.
These errors are editorial, and it is the NMA's opinion that it is not necessary to circulate the proposed amendments for review before implementation.
The amendments involve no material changes to the Regulations and will therefore have no financial or administrative consequences for the industry or the authorities.
Below is a more detailed description of the amendments laid down this circular.
New title for the Regulations of 22 November 2013 No. 1404
In the Regulation of 6 December 2021 No. 3415 concerning tamendments to the Regulations of 22 November 2013 No. 1404, the phrase «overall length» was used twice. It is not necessary to mention overall length twice in the title, therefore the last occurrence is deleted.
Section 47 third paragraph
In the Regulation of 6 December 2021, two amendments to section 47 have been adopted. Only the text under «Section 47 third paragraph should read:» will amend the Regulations on fishing vessels of less than 15 metres in overall length section 47 third paragraph.
Other provisions and entry into force
This Regulation enters into force immediately.
