Monitoring the situation in Ukraine

"These are serious times. Shipping companies flying the Norwegian flag may rest assured that the Norwegian Maritime Authority is available if they have questions or require advice," says Director of Navigation and Shipping, Knut Arild Hareide.

One of the measures we have implemented is to raise the security level for the sea areas off the Ukrainian coastline. Furthermore, we have established a dedicated team to monitor the situation.

All other operations are running as normal. The general recommendation to be more vigilant also applies to the maritime industry.
