- Risk and vulnerability analyses (ROS)
- The role of the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) and the use of RITS (Rescue Intervention at Sea)
- Operational preparedness and coordination responsibilities of the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB) and the Norwegian Coastal Administration
A joint tabletop exercise will be presented to shed light on safety and preparedness challenges for cruise vessels, such as fires occurring while docked, at anchor or underway. Both regulatory experts and representatives from the cruise industry will contribute their perspectives.
