CSR documents are not affected by DNV GL changing its name to DNV
DNV GL has changed name to DNV. It is a change of name only, and already issued Continuous Synopsis Records (CSR's) issued by the Ship Registers NIS / NOR are still considered valid. The Norwegian Maritime Directorate does not propose for all CSR’s to be changed.
We wish to reduce administrative burden to shipowners, and will, therefore, not require re-issuance of CSR´s before they need to be updated due to other changes.
The class's new name will be amended the CSR documents upon receipt of the amendment form, FORM 2: Amendments to the Continuous Synopsis Record - Form 2 - Norwegian Maritime Authority (sdir.no)
