Are you not receiving e-mail from us?

There have been a number of incidents where senders have contacted us because e-mails to us have not resulted in any feedback. If you send an e-mail to our main address (post@sdir.no) you will always receive a receipt. E-mails sent directly to other addresses/employees at the NMA, however, will not result in an automatic receipt.

In some cases, the sender's organisation has adopted the Sender Policy Framework (SPF). If the e-mail is sent from a server that is not registered in your organisation's SPF, the e-mail is stopped.

The whole purpose of SPF is to verify that the e-mail is actually coming from the correct sender, and to stop e-mails from servers that the sender has not authorised.

Contact your internal IT department or your company's IT provider to resolve this issue.
