Wants to become a provider of high-speed courses

Information on how to become a provider of high-speed courses.

I want to be an approved provider of theoretical and/or practical part

Course locations must be approved by the Norwegian Maritime Authority in order to be allowed to offer high-speed courses. It is possible to be approved either as a provider of both theoretical and practical part, or only for practical part. It will not be possible to be approved to only offer the theoretical part.

The practical part of the high-speed course entails great risk if it is not carried out in a responsible manner. Therefore, the course institutions must establish and implement a safety management system. Through the safety management system, the course institutions must ensure that hazards and risks are detected and taken care of. Course locations must also establish a quality system to ensure that the high-speed course is carried out in accordance with given requirements and guidelines.

NB! If you plan to use partners to offer theoretical and practical parts, both must have their own approval from the NMA.
