Amendments to four regulations for the implementation of the 2022 MLC amendments

1.    Introduction

The Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA) has laid down amendments to the following four regulations for the implementation of amendments to the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC):

1. Regulations of 19 August 2013 No. 999 on the use of recruitment and placement services on ships
2. Regulations of 27 June 2008 No. 744 on the obligation to notify and report marine accidents and other incidents at sea
3. Regulations of 19 December 2017 No. 2293 on financial security related to the entitlements of abandoned employees on Norwegian ships
4. Regulations of 18 February 2005 No. 145 on guarantees for social security entitlements for employees on Norwegian ships
