Tools to develop and improve the working environment
Arbeidsmiljøportalen (the Working Environment Portal) has information about effective preventive working environment measures and consists of knowledge-based tools and facts adapted to working environment challenges in various industries. The most common challenges are identified, and measures can be directed specifically at these challenges. You will have the best results if the management, employee representatives, safety representatives and other employees can work together and own the working environment work together as a group. The tools "A good day at work" and "Working environment help" allow for different approaches. Choose the one that suits you best, or use them in combination.
The Working Environment Portal has been developed by the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority and STAMI in collaboration with the various industries.
So far, the tools have been developed for cargo and passenger transport by sea, however, they will be developed for aquaculture and fishing vessels during 2024.
