Hourly rates for fees calculated based on used time

(not included in the initial fee or annual fee, for instance conversions and ISM revisions)

For fees calculated according to time used, the following rates apply:

  • For inspections etc. carried out in Norway 1 594,–
  • For inspections etc. carried out abroad 2 836,–
  • For overtime in Norway and abroad 1 335,–

The fee will be collected in addition to the rates stated above.

The first Certificate of tonnage for Norwegian vessels is included in the initial fees.
Assignment of call sign and issuance of proof of identity not included in the first time measuring, cf. § 3 No. 7 are paid as follows:

  • For vessels with greatest length under 10 meters: 1 594,–.
  • For vessels with greatest length from 10 meters, but less than 15 meters: 2 836,–.

When taking the theoretical exam abroad and when the boating licence is issued abroad, an additional fee of up to NOK 333,- may be charged.
