The maritime security level is changed to MARSEC/ISPS-level 1.
The current threat towards merchant vessels in the Gulf of Aqaba is assessed to be low. There is currently no indication that the actors have any intention of deliberately attacking merchant vessels in the Gulf of Aqaba, although collateral damage to berthed and anchored vessels cannot be ruled out.
The security level is changed from ISPS-level 2 to ISPS-level 1 in the Gulf of Aqaba.
